Project Moves Dance Company is proud to announce its first production of the season, “Be Seen as You Are,” on April 8, 2017, 7:30 P.M. at King Philip Regional High School in Wrentham, MA. Project Moves celebrates the human spirit and integrity through a diverse collective repertoire of dynamic and riveting performances sending messages of hope and optimism. The production, among other things, aims to encourage youth to believe in themselves and celebrate their individuality.
Through the creative vehicle of dance, the artists highlight contemporary social issues and bring focus to human rights. Among the company’s performances will be, “Rise Up,” an impassioned piece that encourages women and girls to rise up with confidence and ambition and to have the capacity to see the strength in who they are. “Borders” focuses on the stereotypes surrounding immigration and accentuates our common humanity and respect for all lives.
