Our signature Combo Classics Program allows dancers to attend one class a week incorporating the fundamental teachings of three different genres: Ballet, Tap and Jazz. We also offer One Subject classes where students may specialize in one particular genre (ballet, tap or jazz). All Hip Hop classes are 1-hour individual subject classes. Students are placed in classes based on their experience and are continually evaluated by our faculty to insure proper placement. The length of class time increases as the dancer progresses in age, interest, vocabulary and ability. In an environment that builds self-esteem and confidence, parents are assured their child will develop necessary life tools that extend far beyond the classroom.

The Fine Print

Mind, Body, Soul is designed for the dancer with a minimum of three years of training who wants to push the limits and step out of the box with all the possibilities of being an artist. Students must throw away their insecurities with unfamiliar dance styles and use this experience to build upon their artistic vocabulary.

For nearly 50 years, ballet has served The Gold School and its alumni very well as the foundation of all dance training at the school. If you dislike ballet or do not appreciate its value to all dance forms this program may not be for you.

As a respect to all dance forms, each dancer is expected to dress the part. Just as you might wear cool sneakers and sweats for hip-hop, we expect female dancers to wear pink tights, a one-piece leotard, and their hair in a bun for every ballet class. Male dancers should wear a dance belt, tights (preferred) or black shorts and a white leotard or t-shirt for ballet class.

Dancers must enter the classroom without a parent. Only registered dancers are allowed in any classroom during Mind Body Soul.

Respect for fellow students, faculty, and staff, as well as our facilities, is expected at all times. Any breach of this policy will result in immediate dismissal from the program.
